Zelest Caraballo born and raised in Waterbury, CT. She earned a BA in history, society, and culture with a pre-law concentration at Colby-Sawyer College in New London, New Hampshire. She also earned a MA in political science at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. 

 

Zelest has worked with campaigns in different capacities for years and worked with Congressman Paul Tonko (D-NY 20) at his Albany office. She is currently working towards her paralegal certification at Naugatuck Valley Community College.

 

Along with being a part time student, she is also the campaign manager for the Charneil For State Senate campaign for CT's 15th state senate district, covering Waterbury, Naugatuck, and Middlebury. She serves on the board of Waterbury's Afro Caribbean Culture Center.
